I'm not sure who "found" Christina for the fitness equipment tutorial and the opportunity to have personal training, so I wanted to send my thanks to both of you. Christina is great! We have been here two years and am very happy to have made the decision to downsize at Hawthorne Commons. The Community Director and Maintenance Technician continue to provide excellent support. It is very comforting to have the continuity of both of them at The Commons. I feel the folks at Treplus Communities have been very accommodating during the COVID-19 crisis in opening up The Commons for activities within certain guidelines and offering community events (food trucks). There are many reasons that would motivate me to recommend Hawthorne Commons. I love the floor plan and the exterior surroundings that include nature walk, proximity to a family neighborhood, freedom to have pets, the quality of the staff and their response to our needs, and the other people who live here. Hawthorne Commons offers apartment living more like condos on one floor, with no steps. High ceilings create an “open” feeling with lots of windows and natural light.  We love the great kitchen with abundant electrical plugs and lots of lights and switches, generous storage in all rooms, and easy to maintain laminate floors. Maintenance-free living with excellent service that alleviates the worry of typical homeowner concerns and costs. All 55+ residents share common interests and concerns. Landscaping services are provided along with an excellent community center with patio and fitness center, TV, pool table and more! Many planned activities by both resident committee and community. We have been here over a year now and our initial enthusiasm for this Community continues to increase. It is perfect for us: no steps, two car attached garage, open and bright ambiance, great kitchen and many small touches for those over 55. And none of the concerns of home ownership and maintenance. Use the community room and fitness center regularly for darts, pool, workout and cocktails with family and friends. Location is great - everything we want or need is close by. Not only are they very knowledgeable, they are just nice people to be around. The activities are in full swing and there are lots of options for nearly everyone.
