Construction/land development administrator

Treplus Communities is seeking a Construction and Land Development Administrator to provide administrative support to the Director of Development and the Director of Construction to help facilitate new land development and construction projects. This role requires a strong organization and communication skills, and the ability to balance multiple tasks and deadlines. Duties may be varied and expanded to meet critical business needs.

Key Requirements/Skills:
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • 5+ years of construction or land development experience
  • Critical thinking capabilities to solve problems and work independently
  • Business acumen and basic accounting experience
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Familiar with MS Project Management Software
  • This is a fast-paced work environment, so exceptional multi-tasking abilities are necessary. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also required to be successful in this position.
Responsibilities include:
  • Provide general clerical assistance as well as assist with maintaining files and databases
  • Prepare presentations, special reports, memorandums, proposals and correspondence as needed
  • Organize and maintain land/lot contracts from feasibility through closing
  • Maintain status/critical date reports to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Perform research and information gathering from multiple sources
  • Document management activities, including: reviewing project drawings for changes; updating
  • drawing sets; managing submittals, RFIs, transmittals, and coordinating drawings releases organizing O&M manuals; and distributing documents to appropriate team members and stakeholders
  • Secure and compile electronic turnover documents; assure all documentation requested is received from contractors/suppliers for each ongoing project assigned; compile electronic close-out documents and prepare turnover packages
  • Manage and process purchase orders and invoices
