Treplus Communities is Redefining 55+ Living! We are seeking a Bookkeeper to fill a critical role in our corporate office team. In this full-time capacity, the bookkeeper will drive accuracy, interdepartmental communication, efficiency, and process as a team player for a growing brand of active adult communities.

Key Requirements/Skills:
  • Associates degree in Accounting or Business or 2 years in similar position
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles
  • 3+ years’ knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with QuickBooks and RealPage, a plus
  • Comfortable with learning new processes and online software
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze operational reports
  • Oversee the management of inter-company billing
  • Responsible for coding of expenditures to proper general ledger account and recording expenditures when incurred
  • Complete bank reconciliations for all companies
  • Assist CFO with preparation of financial models and bank/equity submissions for
  • new/potential projects
  • Assist with the month end process for a growing property management portfolio; maintain accounting work papers, prepare GL entries
  • Watch for address changes and make sure checks are sent to proper place
  • Track vendors subject to 1099’s, obtain W9’s and set up accounts appropriately
  • Audit reconciliation reports for company credit card statements
  • Process payments
  • Support monthly reporting process
Work Schedule
  • The expected work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
