The celebration will be kicked-off with a ribbon cutting and open house hosted by the Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Lee A. Gray, Mayor of Pickerington, local dignitaries, and business people will be on hand for the event. The Columbus Chamber of Commerce will also be on hand and hold a ribbon cutting to commemorate the moment.

On Saturday, August 17th, an open house will be held from 3:00-7:00 PM and guests will be able to tour the property. Entertainment will be provided by local favorite and legendary McGuffey Lane lead singer, John Schwab with special guest Molly Pauken from 4-7 PM. Schwab has been playing music for many years but his sound is as fresh as the new wave of talent infusing the industry. John's successful songwriting career started with "Long Time Loving You" and many other hits recorded by McGuffey Lane and a list of other artists. His voice and writing skills also opened the door to many TV and radio commercials along with a voiceover career that has lasted many decades. He is a welcomed guest at many radio stations with a song list stretching from Roger Miller to Jimmy Buffet and from James Taylor to Frank Sinatra. He was voted Number 1 in Columbus by 614 Magazine as the best solo/musician in 2018.

Guests of the event will be able to register for a drawing for two tickets to the September 7th Ohio State Football game with Cincinnati.
