Treplus Communities to Go "Over The Edge" on June 18th

Gracehaven Over the Edge Event | Watch Live!

Treplus Communities is proud to be a corporate sponsor of the Over the Edge event to End Child Sex Trafficking. The event raises funds for Gracehaven, a non-profit organization in Central Ohio dedicated to the prevention, rescue, and rehabilitation of child victims (11-17 years old) from commercial sexual exploitation. In the past six years, this event has raised more than $1.4M dollars.  2021 had a record number of rappellers, more new corporate sponsors, and community champions. It's not just about the rappel-it's about the girls being served by Gracehaven!

In addition to a monetary donation, two brave Treplus Communities employees; Kayla Tennefoss, Bookkeeper, and Joy Treen, Construction/Land Development Administrator; have volunteered to step up to the edge of Chase Tower in downtown Columbus and rappel 330 feet down to the bottom. The event takes place at 100 E. Broad St. on Friday, June 18.

Gracehaven is raising money for a great cause.

Gracehaven hopes to raise $290,000 from the 2021 Over the Edge event. In addition to fundraising, the event will capture the attention of the local community and raise awareness about children who are being trafficked or are at risk. Ohio is the fourth leading state for sex-trafficking with 1,100 minors sold each year.

Gracehaven is a charity Treplus leadership have supported for more than a decade.  Partner Geoffrey Arthur has served on the Board of Gracehaven for several years. Treplus has also been a proud sponsor of Gracehaven’s Over the Edge event since 2018 as a Corporate Social Responsibility effort.
